ARKO CLUB: Teachers' Day Celebration at IICMR

The Teachers' Day celebration at IICMR was a vibrant and heartfelt event filled with gratitude and joy. The day began with a warm welcome from the students, recognizing the invaluable contributions of our teachers in shaping futures and making a lasting impact.The highlight of the event was the presentation of the Best Teacher of the Year Award to Mr. Harshal Patil, whose exceptional dedication and work have made a significant difference.
The celebration concluded with fun-filled games, creating a joyful bond between students and teachers. A memorable day indeed!
ARKO CLUB: Eco Friendly Ganesha

The celebrations span from 7th September 2024 (Saturday) to 11th September 2024 (Wednesday), including various Aarti timings and participants. The event aims to involve multiple groups from the institute, including hostel residents, school students, and faculty members, in the festivities.
The IICMR family came together to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi from 7th to 11th September 2024, creating an atmosphere of devotion, unity, and festivity. The celebration began on 7th September with the first Aarti at 10:30 AM, performed by our Director, Dr. Abhay Kulkarni. Over the following days, different groups, including hostel residents, school students, faculty members, and the ARKO Club, led Aarti sessions, infusing the event with diversity and enthusiasm.
Highlights included the Girls Hostel's two Aarti sessions on 8th September, followed by performances from CPJC and MBA students on 9th September. City Pride School added a special touch with three Aarti sessions and a Satyanarayan Puja on 10th September. The festivities concluded on 11th September with the final Aarti performed by the Admin team and MCA students, followed by a vibrant visarjan ceremony led by MBA and CA students, marking a beautiful conclusion to the celebration.
This collective involvement truly exemplified the spirit of togetherness and cultural celebration at IICMR.
ARKO CLUB: Dandiya Night 2024

On 5th October 2024, from 7 PM to 9 PM, IICMR once again lit up with the spirit of Garba, bringing MBA and MCA students together for an unforgettable evening of celebration. Students showcased their traditional dance moves in vibrant attire, sharing in the joy of this festive occasion. where both MBA 1st year and 2nd year students participated enthusiastically.
The highlight of the evening was the dance competition, where Shree Shinde from MBA 1st Year and Shweta Ruikar from MBA 2nd Year dazzled the audience with their energetic performances, winning the Best Dance awards.
The event celebrated not just dance but unity, as both MBA and MCA students came together to revel in the evening’s festivities.
ARKO CLUB: Educational Excursion

Location : Manali
As part of the experiential learning activities, MBA@IICMR, under the ARKO Club, organized an exciting educational excursion to Shimla and Manali from 23rd September 2024 to 29th September 2024 for the MBA 2nd year students. The 7-day trip combined joy, adventure, and valuable learning experiences, with a total of 111 students enthusiastically participating.
The excursion was coordinated by MBA students Mr. Vinit More and Miss Soumya, who ensured that all the arrangements were handled smoothly and successfully. The journey began on the evening of 23rd September, with the group flying from Mumbai to Delhi. Upon reaching Delhi in the evening, the students embarked on a bus journey to Manali, filled with excitement and songs, setting the tone for the memorable days ahead.
Field trip provides real-world experience, increases the quality of education, and improves the social relations, outside of the four walls of a classroom. The idea behind this experiential learning is to contextualize knowledge in order to develop a deeper understanding.
This excursion not only offered the students a break from their academic routine but also provided them with valuable outside-the-classroom learning opportunities, fostering teamwork and leadership skills.
